Fatal pedestrian accident in Crocetta del Montello

The driver, a 21-year-old resident of Montebelluna/Onigo di Pederobbico, tested negative for alcohol and drugs. Local Carabinieri are investigating the incident, and the driver faces formal scrutiny under the charge of road homicide. Investigators are expected to conduct a kinematic analysis to determine if the collision could have been avoided.

In the wake of the tragedy, the mayors of both Crocetta del Montello and Cortemaggiore have offered condolences. Additionally, local community members have initiated a solidarity fund to support the grieving family.
