Overview
On September 30, 2026, a serious vehicle collision occurred in the parking lot of the Tsawwassen Mills shopping centre on Tsawwassen First Nation lands in South Delta, British Columbia. The incident took place during a community walk and gathering for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The death toll from the collision involving a pickup truck has risen to three. The victims identified include two Tsawwassen First Nation elders, wilapiya (Barb Joe) and Virginia Splockton, as well as 64-year-old Gwenyth Brigit Dwyn of South Delta.
