The team recently concluded an intensive evaluation camp in Paris, where they faced FC Versailles U19 and suffered a 2-0 defeat. Coach Libiih described the match as a “positive” experience, stating it served as a “vital test of the players' physical and athletic capabilities against more mature European competition.” The technical staff plans to use data regarding physical impact and resistance to effort to refine the squad. Cameroon is set to compete in Group K against Romania, Venezuela, and Mexico, with their opening match scheduled for November 21 against Venezuela.
