Foro Madrid summit in Santiago

The V Regional Meeting of Foro Madrid is scheduled to take place in Santiago, Chile. Organized by Spain’s Fundación Disenso, the summit aims to gather political leaders, think-tank representatives, and civil-society figures from over 25 countries across Europe, the United States, and Ibero-America.

Key objectives include discussing freedom of expression, cooperation against transnational organized crime, and drafting a ‘Santiago Declaration’ to establish a roadmap for regional right-wing cooperation.

Expected attendees include prominent international figures such as Spain’s Santiago Abascal of Vox, Argentine President Javier Milei, Italy’s Giorgia Meloni, and Portugal’s André Ventura, alongside members of the Bolsonaro family. Organizers noted that the choice of Chile reflects a new political era for the country, citing the leadership of José Antonio Kast as a reference point for political forces seeking to reclaim security and prosperity.
