Fuel price increases in Poland and Colombia

Overview

In Poland, retail fuel prices have climbed sharply ahead of the summer travel season. Diesel averages approximately 8.14 zł per litre, while gasoline (PB95) costs around 7.44 zł per litre. Autogas (LPG) is the only fuel that has seen a price decrease, dropping to roughly 3.05 zł per litre.

In response to these increases, the Polish government is considering protective measures, including a possible price-cap mechanism and a temporary VAT reduction.
