Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55 accessory development
Overview
Fujifilm announced the development of the VF-GFXC2, a dedicated electronic viewfinder (EVF) for the GFX ETERNA 55 digital filmmaking camera. The accessory features an OLED display with a 2048×1536 resolution, a 1,000 nit peak brightness, and a native 4:3 aspect ratio to match the camera’s open-gate image format. The unit is designed with a machined aluminum exterior and a large eyecup for durability and light blocking.
Following this, Fujifilm unveiled the final design of the VF-GFXC2 at IBC 2026. The finalized hardware includes two programmable buttons and a dedicated display button to toggle between full-frame and data-overlay views. The device is expected to be available by the end of 2026.
