Gambero Rosso wine and culinary guide recognitions

The Gambero Rosso guide has issued its latest recognitions for Italian wines, highlighting several regional successes.

In Sardinia, 18 wines received the ‘Tre Bicchieri’ distinction, the highest honor in the guide. The Gallura region was notably represented by four Vermentino di Gallura labels, while Cannonau was the most frequent grape variety recognized across the region. Other awards were distributed in the Sassari province.

In the Marche region, four wineries from Ripatransone earned the ‘Tre Bicchieri’ award. These producers represent a significant portion of the top-tier awards for the Marche region and the Ascoli Piceno province. Local officials indicated that these accolades provide a signal of recovery for the agricultural sector following a severe hailstorm in July.

Further updates in the Gambero Rosso Guida Vini d’Italia 2027 confirm the continued success of Ripatransone, where wineries Tenuta Santori, Numa, Cantina dei Colli Ripani, and Le Caniette received the prestigious ‘Tre Bicchieri’ award. This success is noted as a major recovery for the local agricultural sector following recent weather damage.

Additionally, Gambero Rosso released a list of the best bars in Calabria. The province of Reggio Calabria saw the highest number of recognized venues, with nine establishments receiving awards, though no locations achieved the maximum ‘Tre Tazzine’ rating.
