Gia Lai traffic accident investigation

Overview

Authorities in Gia Lai province are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a pregnant motorcyclist. The collision occurred on the night of August 10 at the intersection of Le Duan and Tran Thi Ky streets.

The victim, identified as N. T. T., was knocked to the ground by a car driven by an individual identified as N. B. The victim reported that the driver appeared to be intoxicated and unable to stand steadily following the impact. Despite bystanders requesting medical assistance, the driver allegedly made unpleasant remarks and fled the scene. Relatives of the victim attempted to stop the vehicle by clinging to the car door, but the driver continued to drive away.

The Gia Lai Provincial Traffic Police Department has taken over the case and summoned the driver for verification and investigation.
