In Barbados, the National Housing Corporation has distributed homes to nearly 500 families. Under the State (Acquisition and Vesting of Property) Act, approximately 3,892 long-term tenants are expected to transition to homeowners, a process intended to resolve administrative delays for residents in several areas. Similarly, in South Africa, the City of Cape Town has distributed title deeds to 65 homeowners in Heideveld through its ‘Housing the City Tour’ initiative to provide legal security.

In Uganda, land registration efforts in the Apac district aim to benefit 26,000 households through government and small-scale farmer forum programs designed to reduce conflict. In Guyana, the Ministry of Housing has processed more than 8,500 certificates of title in early 2026, working toward a goal of exceeding 10,000 annual titles to address a significant national backlog of applicants.
