In the United States, the SEC has provided five years of temporary, conditional exemptive relief to certain venues to facilitate the trading of tokenized National Market System (NMS) stocks. By September 2026, the distributed value of tokenized stocks reached approximately $2.92 billion, supported by millions of holders and active addresses globally.
