GlobalM GMX platform expansion

Overview

GlobalM has expanded the deployment and reach of its GMX software-defined media platform through new cloud and regional partnerships.

Initially, GlobalM integrated its GMX platform with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to provide broadcasters and media companies with an automated, scalable media network. This integration allows for the dynamic deployment of compute, networking, and media processing resources on demand.

Following this, GlobalM partnered with Lamhas Satellite Services to expand IP broadcast infrastructure in India. This agreement involves deploying GMX technology within new data centers in New Delhi and Mumbai to support managed services such as live news and sports coverage. The setup allows for the combination of local infrastructure with public cloud resources to increase international reach.
