Google’s Gemini AI has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users, marking it as the fastest-growing product in the company’s history and the 14th Google service to reach this milestone. User data shows a significant trend toward multimodal and voice-based interactions, with 63% of users utilizing voice commands and 20% engaging in Gemini Live sessions via live camera or screen sharing.

To advance its “agentic” capabilities, Google is expanding its ecosystem through third-party integrations. Beyond healthcare appointments via Zocdoc and dining reservations through OpenTable, a new integration with Ticketmaster allows users in the United States to use natural language to discover events, seating, and real-time pricing. Once an event is selected, users are directed to the Ticketmaster marketplace with seats pre-loaded for checkout.
