Greece digital governance and administrative reforms

Overview

Greece has implemented new measures to modernize its public administration and enhance digital oversight. Under Law 5293/2026, the government launched the Registry of Revoked Administrative Acts. This system allows authorities to track and record revoked acts resulting from inaccurate solemn declarations, ensuring that public authorities can verify information before issuing new documents.

In tandem with these oversight measures, the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence is working to upgrade digital services for the country’s seven decentralized administrations. Efforts are focused on enhancing the 7ad.gov.gr portal to create a unified service point. This initiative aims to standardize administrative procedures and integrate interactive services and digital solutions developed by the administrations themselves.
