Mexican conglomerate Grupo Salinas has released documentation to demonstrate its tax compliance following long-standing litigation. The group reported total tax payments exceeding 319 billion pesos (approximately US$18.8 billion) between 2005 and July 2026.

To counter what the company described as a “permanent campaign of discredit and disinformation” regarding its fiscal responsibilities, the conglomerate launched a public microsite allowing users to consult official tax receipts and payment vouchers. The group noted that previous legal disputes were primarily technical disagreements regarding double taxation, which were formally resolved earlier this year.

Specific divisions reported the following contributions: TV Azteca settled all outstanding liabilities with payments exceeding 4 billion pesos, while commercial and financial divisions, including Elektra and Banco Azteca, reported accumulated payments of more than 13.6 billion pesos. The company expects to make an additional 5.9 billion pesos in litigation-related payments by the end of the year.
