Guinean media development and professional recognition

Overview

In Guinea, the Agence Guinéenne de Presse (AGP) has acquired new technical equipment, such as cameras, drones, and computers, to improve its capacity for collecting and distributing professional information.

Additionally, the 5th Médias Awards Guinée (MAG) has been launched in Conakry. The upcoming ceremony, themed around the role of print media, will name its Grand Prix after the late Souleymane Diallo to honor his legacy while recognizing journalistic excellence and advocating for better working conditions.
