Gunfire investigation in Prince George

Overview

The Prince George RCMP is investigating reports of gunfire in the College Heights area. On September 4, police responded to the 7100 block of Barbara Place following reports of five to six gunshots heard around 5:30 a.m.

A witness reported seeing a white SUV fleeing the neighborhood at high speed immediately after the shots. While no injuries have been reported, investigators are working to determine if the gunfire and the vehicle are connected. Authorities have requested that local residents review surveillance and dash camera footage for suspicious activity.
