Heart Day Walking Festival in Seoul

Overview

The Korean Society of Cardiology and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation organized the ‘Heart Day Walking Festival’ in Seoul to commemorate Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Management Week and World Heart Day.

Planned as an initiative to raise public awareness of cardiovascular health and the benefits of walking, the event offered a 3km walking course and a 1.5km accessibility course. The festival included health booths providing services such as InBody analysis, blood glucose testing, ECG, and arteriosclerosis screenings, alongside CPR training and medical consultations.

Following the event, approximately 1,000 participants attended the festival at the Olympic Park Picnic Ground. In addition to standard health checks, participants utilized HiCardi wearable ECG devices to monitor real-time heart rates and oxygen saturation levels. Specialized booths also provided consultations regarding pediatric and congenital heart diseases.
