Heavy rainfall and flooding in Algeria and Tunisia

Overview

In mid-September 2026, Algeria's National Meteorological Office issued an orange weather alert for nine provinces, including Jijel, Skikda, and Annaba, warning of heavy rainfall accumulations between 20 and 40 mm.
