HOKA Clifton 11 launch, discounts persist

Overview

In early June 2026, HOKA rolled out a 90s-inspired colour palette and reduced the U.S. price of the Clifton 10 by 20% to $124. Following the July 6 launch of the Clifton 11, retailers began heavily discounting the Clifton 10 to clear stock. By mid-August, Zappos offered the Clifton 10 for as low as $100 as part of a back-to-school sale, while REI listed select styles between $93.83 and $99.83, representing a 36% savings off the $155 retail price. HOKA also implemented markdowns of up to $56 on other models, including the Clifton 9 GTX, Skyflow, and Tecton X 3, though availability of popular sizes has become limited.

In Japan, HOKA announced new Clifton series releases for September. The weather-resistant Clifton 11 GTX, featuring GORE-TEX technology, is scheduled for release on September 1, including an exclusive limited-edition colorway through OSHMAN’S. This will be followed on September 4 by the launch of the Clifton UTL, an urban-aesthetic model with an exoskeleton-style upper. To mark the UTL release, the brand is initiating the “TRACKTRACKTRACK” project featuring actor Sōsuke Ikematsu, which will culminate in a musical and visual gallery event in Omotesando on September 5 and 6.
