After the incident, Korber reportedly changed his clothes and slept in a nearby field before fleeing into a wooded area. He later surrendered to Pennsylvania State Police, an arrest captured on a live local news broadcast. During a police interview, Korber allegedly confessed to causing his mother’s death and appeared to show some remorse, according to Trooper Steve Limani. Hamilton’s daughter discovered the victim’s body outside the residence around 9:00 a.m. Korber is currently being held without bail.
