Homicide investigations and fugitive searches in Rosario

Authorities in Rosario, Santa Fe, have taken actions to address various homicide investigations involving fugitives.

In the investigation into the November 2022 double homicide of teenagers Valentín Solís and Eric Luis Galli, the Ministry of Justice and Security offered a 10 million peso reward for information leading to the capture of Pablo Manuel Alberto Añazco. The attack occurred at a housing complex in western Rosario, where at least 17 shots were fired. While a co-defendant, Franco Saavedra, was sentenced to life imprisonment in March 2026, Añazco remained a fugitive. Following information that located him, the Córdoba Police Homicide Department arrested Añazco in Córdoba province in September 2026. He will be transferred to Rosario to face formal charges.

In a separate investigation, a 29-year-old man identified as Pablo P. surrendered to police in August 2026. He had been the subject of a manhunt following the January homicide of 26-year-old Nicolás Fabián Cortez. The Santa Fe government had previously offered a 10 million peso reward for information regarding his capture. Pablo P. was charged with aggravated homicide involving a firearm and remains in custody.
