Honda and Achilles children's footwear collaboration

Honda and the Japanese footwear manufacturer Achilles have announced a collaboration to release a special edition of the ‘Shunsoku’ children’s footwear line. The sneakers are inspired by the Honda ‘Civic Type R’ sports model and utilize the existing ‘Ultima Cheetah’ model.

The collection incorporates design elements from the vehicle, such as the official Type R logo on the toe, a red emblem on the heel, and red stitching inspired by the car’s interior upholstery. The shoes are available in three colors: Championship White, Flame Red, and Racing Blue Pearl. Technical features include an ‘Inner Flex System’ in the midsole and asymmetrical soles designed to enhance grip during cornering.

Pre-orders for the footwear, priced at approximately 6,490 yen, began in mid-August 2026. General sales and initial deliveries are expected to commence in October 2026.
