Horse racing results at Randwick

Overview

Recent racing events at Randwick featured several notable performances. In the Group 3 Keeneland Gimcrack Stakes, the two-year-old filly Shraddha, trained by Michael Freedman and ridden by Tommy Berry, secured a victory after navigating a tight gap in the straight. In the colts' division, Freedman’s Capitano finished second in the Breeders’ Plate.

In the Sydney Stakes, the colt Grafterburners won the 1200m race by a length and a half under jockey Nash Rawiller. Trainer Kelly Schweida noted that the decision to bypass the Everest slot to compete in this $2 million race was successful, with plans to potentially target the Champions Sprint at Flemington next.
