In Al-Hudaydah province, a 70-year-old man, Qasim Salem Ahmed Qadri, died following abduction and torture by Houthi militants in the Zabid district. Qadri was reportedly detained after a supervisor discovered an outdated passport with a Saudi stamp. Human rights sources stated he was subjected to severe physical abuse, including the extraction of his teeth and nails, before succumbing to his injuries.

Amid these incidents, human rights organizations continue to demand information regarding the whereabouts of journalist Wahid al-Sufi, who has been forcibly disappeared since 2015.
