Hsinchu City public events and social initiatives

Overview

Hsinchu City has organized various public celebrations and community initiatives. In early October, the city scheduled National Day festivities, including the ‘2026 Hsinchu City Zhuqian Sunrise’ ceremony and the Qingcao Lake Autumn Flame Festival, which featured fireworks and anime-themed programs.

Following these celebrations, the city announced plans for an International Children's Day road run on November 7 at the Zuian Touqian River. This event aims to promote the Convention on the Rights of the Child through carnival booths and interactive games. The initiative aligns with Mayor Kao Hung-an’s vision of government support for families, including childbirth subsidies and expanded childcare resources.
