While the industry faces challenges in dynamic stability, organizers noted a shift toward full autonomy in tasks such as running and football, with significant investments expected to drive the market toward a multi-trillion dollar valuation by 2050. Additionally, in a combat tournament in Shenzhen, an EngineAI T800 robot sustained severe damage, including a detached head, during a match. In contrast, researchers from Tsinghua Hephaestus have demonstrated progress in complex task execution using the T1 humanoid robot to score goals against human goalkeepers.
