Overview
The Virginia International Raceway (VIR) hosted IMSA racing events, including the Michelin GT Challenge and the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge.
Initial preparations focused on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, where Corvette Z06 GT3.R teams aimed for a second consecutive GTD PRO Manufacturers Championship title. The GSX class also prepared for 45-minute sprint races featuring GT4-spec cars.

In the GTD class, Frederik Schandorff led sessions in a Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO.
In the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Jaxon Bell took the pole position for the Grand Sport class in a Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2. The event also included TCR competition and faced minor setbacks, such as a practice incident involving championship leader Neil Verhagen that required repairs to his BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
