IMSS ambulance fleet expansion in Mexico

The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has expanded its ambulance fleet in Chiapas by adding 10 new units. Delivered in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, these vehicles are equipped with specialized medical tools such as oxygen tanks, suction equipment, and ventilation systems.

This addition brings the total number of IMSS ambulances in the state to 41. Nationally, the IMSS operates a fleet of over 1,200 ambulances supported by 6,000 personnel to facilitate patient transfers, surgeries, and organ transplants.
