Incheon International Airport service and transit upgrades
Overview
Incheon International Airport and its surrounding metropolitan area are implementing various service and infrastructure enhancements.
In early October 2026, the Incheon International Airport Corporation launched ‘F&B+’, a mobile service integrated into the ‘Incheon Airport Duty Free’ application. The digital platform allows passengers to view menus, prices, and locations for approximately 202 food and beverage outlets. It supports mobile ordering and payment for 77 outlets, pre-ordering for 64 dine-in locations, and seat reservations for seven specialized restaurants, alongside lounge access purchases. The service includes multilingual support in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
By mid-October 2026, Incheon Metropolitan City announced plans to expand the seated bus network by 2027 to improve connectivity between the airport and urban residential districts. The expansion involves adding four new routes and 33 additional buses, increasing the total airport-linked seated bus fleet from 138 to 156 vehicles. Detailed plans are expected to be finalized in the second half of 2026.
