Early reports highlighted several violent crimes, including an armed attack in Menidi where unidentified individuals opened fire on a vehicle, wounding a 26-year-old man. In Argolida, a 64-year-old man was arrested for shooting a relative during a land dispute, and in Lavrio, a man faced charges following a premeditated attack on a former partner. Concurrently, severe weather caused flooding and infrastructure damage in Crete and the Dodecanese islands.

Subsequent reports detailed further incidents, including a serious house fire in Artemida that caused a roof collapse and explosions, and a fire in Vromoneri that damaged a holiday home. Other reported events included a vehicle collision with wild boars on the Larissa–Trikala National Road and a tree collapse in Lamia caused by rainfall.

More recently, the National Meteorological Service (EMY) upgraded warnings to an ‘Emergency Bulletin for Dangerous Weather Phenomena’ as heavy rains caused flooding and traffic issues on the Athens-Corinth National Road and in Palaio Faliro. Additionally, a bear was spotted wandering through the center of Argos Orestiko; local police are working to remove the animal after sightings suggested it may be habituated to urban environments.
