Jaishankar also highlighted the “four F” crisis facing the Global South—food, fuel, fertilizer, and finance—and warned against the “weaponization” of global supply chains, finance, and technology, stating the world is “living on the edge of an abyss.” He noted that this crisis is exacerbated by factors such as El Niño and impediments to grain movement. Regarding ongoing international conflicts, he expressed concern over the war in Ukraine, calling for an end to “endless wars,” and reaffirmed India's support for a two-state solution in the Middle East while noting that India continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
