Following these calls, Trade Minister Budi Santoso met with automotive industry representatives, specifically PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, to discuss leveraging trade deals to increase global competitiveness. The government is currently working toward concluding a trade cooperation agreement with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) by November, which is expected to expand market access for Indonesian products within the Gulf region.
