Indonesia Red White Cooperative training program

Entities: Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia (SPPI) · Koperasi Desa Merah Putih · Prabowo Subianto · Tri Budi Utomo · Indonesian Ministry of Defence

Overview

The Indonesian Ministry of Defense wrapped up the first wave of its Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia (SPPI) training for Red White Cooperative managers on 31 July 2026. The 1½‑month course, held at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, graduated over 33,000 participants nationwide and was accompanied by a July survey that found public awareness high but confidence in the program’s success low.

Two days later the ministry announced adjustments for the second wave: the training quota will be slightly reduced, and all graduates will be required to serve in the cooperatives for two years. Placement of these managers will be coordinated by the State‑Owned Enterprise Agency and PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, with assignments to begin shortly after the next training session.
