Various organizations held events to commemorate Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day.

In Paniai Regency, the Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) and the GPdI Anthiokia Enarotali church organized an inter-faith vocal group competition in Enarotali-Madi. The event, which involved approximately 300 participants, aimed to “strengthen inter-faith brotherhood” and prepare local youth for future contests. Paroki St. Yosef Enarotali was named the first-place winner.

In Jakarta, the InJourney Group hosted a cultural showcase at Sarinah titled ‘Kesenian Rakyat dalam Kebersamaan Kemerdekaan’. The celebration featured over 1,500 artists performing traditional dances and music, while also supporting 100 MSMEs. President Director Maya Watono noted that the initiative intended to support the tourism ecosystem and provide benefits to society.
