Grupo Bepensa and Industria Mexicana de Coca-Cola (IMCC) have inaugurated the Planta Centenario Valladolid in Yucatán, Mexico. This investment occurs amid a period of industrial growth in Yucatán. Data from Inegi indicates the state has recorded eight consecutive months of growth in industrial activity, with a 3.7% annual increase as of May 2026. While the inauguration follows previous tensions between Coparmex Mérida president David Reyes Aguiar, who expressed concerns regarding low investment sentiment, and Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena, who maintained an optimistic outlook, the state currently ranks as having the sixth-highest industrial growth in Mexico.
