Authorities in Argentina have arrested a 34-year-old father and a 26-year-old mother after a 24-day-old infant was found with severe injuries and drugs in its system.
The baby, originally from Balnearia, was treated at J. B. Iturraspe Hospital in San Francisco, where medical exams detected cocaine in the infant's blood. The child also suffered a skull fracture and a fractured scapula. Due to the severity of these injuries, the infant was transferred to the Neonatal Hospital in Córdoba.
