Overview

Vice President Kashim Shettima commissioned the Kashim Ibrahim University Teaching Hospital in Maiduguri, Borno State. The 400-bed facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, including a 1.5-tesla MRI scanner and a 160-slice CT scanner, and features 13 specialist departments, a medical college, and staff housing.

Alongside the healthcare project, the Vice President inaugurated educational facilities, such as the Yerwa Practice Mega Primary School and the Kashim Shettima Academy, intended to support the Kashim Shettima Free Education Programme for orphans and vulnerable children.
