Inönü University academic and outreach initiatives

Overview

Inönü University in Malatya has undertaken several initiatives focused on academic outreach and professional development.

In late July, the university launched a campus outreach program featuring information booths at a local shopping centre to assist prospective students. This event included direct contact with faculty deans and a tour for high-school guidance teachers to showcase the university’s digital-transformation office, technology workshops, and library resources.

Following this, the university completed the ‘Future of Education: AI Literate Teacher Academy’ program. Supported by the TÜBİTAK 4005 program, this four-day initiative trained thirty teachers from sixteen provinces in artificial intelligence applications, including prompt engineering and agent creation, to bridge the gap between academic research and classroom practice.
