Interior design projects in Madrid

Overview

Recent architectural developments in Madrid include the completion of two distinct interior design projects.

Zooco Estudio finished the interior design for La Maruca de Azca, a 500-square-meter restaurant in the Azca financial district. The design uses organic shapes and natural materials like solid oak and limestone to create an alpine-inspired atmosphere intended to contrast with the surrounding corporate environment.

In the Palacio neighborhood, Oroco Studio completed a renovation of a 40-square-meter apartment. The project focused on maximizing functionality through a minimalist material palette of granite, plaster, and steel to create a sense of spatial continuity.
