International GT and IMSA racing championships
Overview
Recent motorsport events have seen significant championship outcomes across various series. In the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, AutoTechnic Racing secured the Grand Sport (GS) class season championship with drivers Austin Krainz and Stevan McAleer. While Circle H Racing won the Fox Factory 120 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, AutoTechnic Racing’s consistency throughout the season earned them the title and secured BMW’s eighth manufacturers’ championship.
In endurance racing, GMG Racing achieved an overall victory at the Indianapolis 8 Hours. The Pro-Am crew of Ayhancan Guven, Riccardo Pera, and Kyle Washington, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo, became the first Pro-Am trio to win the race outright. This victory helped Porsche clinch its fourth Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) manufacturers' title. Additionally, Maxime Martin secured the IGTC drivers' championship, while Turner Motorsport and GMG Racing claimed the Pro and Pro-Am titles respectively in the GT World Challenge America.
