Ramos previously served as an assistant judge to Nunes Marques between 2018 and 2020. Messages also suggest Ramos facilitated luxury hotel accommodations and event access for individuals linked to Vorcaro. In response to the ongoing scrutiny, the CNJ recently ordered the cancellation of 16 sugar sector precatórios totaling R$ 4.7 billion following a request from the Attorney General's Office (AGU). Minister Nunes Marques has denied any communication with Vorcaro or authorization of third parties to act on his behalf. Ramos Neto remains in his position, describing the CNJ’s extraordinary corrective procedure as ‘natural and regular.’ Camilla Ramos's law firm has confirmed a formal contract with Banco Master but denied receiving any payments to date.
