The Iranian Armed Forces General Staff and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that the Army, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and other branches will defend national interests against “American and Zionist enemies.”

Reflecting on the strategic self-sufficiency gained from the Iran-Iraq War, IRGC Second Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi told Al-Alam News Network that the conflict with the U.S. and its allies is not over. Mohebbi emphasized that the IRGC is prepared for a “long-term war” and would respond if hostilities enter a new phase of intensity, claiming that the U.S. and Israel have failed in their objectives.
