Italian community meetings in Porto Alegre

Overview

The Italian Community of Rio Grande do Sul organized its third meeting in Porto Alegre at the Dante Barone Auditorium within the Legislative Assembly. Organized by Comites-RS, the event was designed to facilitate dialogue, exchange experiences, and discuss the preservation of Italo-Gaúcho culture.

A central component of the meeting was the official presentation of Luis Cavalieri, the newly appointed Consul General of Italy in Porto Alegre. Cavalieri used the forum to engage with community leaders and associations to foster dialogue across the state. The program also included discussions on business opportunities and innovation, featuring presentations such as a lecture by César Cini regarding entrepreneurial trajectories and connections to the Veneto region of Italy.
