In early July 2026, Politecnico di Milano reported a record 99 % employment rate for its recent graduates. A later report at the end of the month expanded the picture to the wider Italian higher‑education sector. The AlmaLaurea study showed that 87.9 % of health‑related graduates found jobs within a year, with technical, rehabilitation and prevention fields posting rates of 84.9 %, 88.5 % and 77.9 % respectively. At the University of Milan, 95.4 % of PhD holders were employed after one year, well above the national average of 94.1 %, and only 1.9 % were unemployed. The University of Parma posted an even higher placement rate of 97 %. Across these institutions, graduates cite strong labour‑market demand, high satisfaction with their positions, and opportunities both domestically and abroad.
