In early August 2026, further Italian municipalities confirmed their 2026 budget adjustments, extending the pattern seen in late July. Umbertide reiterated its balanced accounts and continued funding for public works, cultural projects, schools, green areas and social services. Rome’s Municipio XV transferred roughly €6 million to investment plans covering social services, school equipment, green‑space maintenance and road safety. Smaller towns also joined the process: Carsoli approved a €400 000 allocation for environmental and road upgrades without raising the waste‑tax; Isola del Piano’s new majority earmarked €7 500 for public‑green upkeep and €7 000 for playground improvements; Cascina adopted a budget variation, though opposition leaders warned the figures may not reflect on‑the‑ground realities.
