Italy “Il + Bello d’Italia” beauty contest

Overview

In early August 2026, the interregional final of the long‑running “Il + Bello d’Italia” male beauty‑pageant was staged at Palazzo Tagliaferro in Andora. Fifteen to twenty contestants from seven Italian regions performed before an all‑female jury, with singer‑songwriter Diandra Delfino hosting and patron Silvio Fasano introducing the event.

A few days later, the competition concluded with 22‑year‑old Samuele Battaglia of Savona crowned the interregional champion. Battaglia was set to represent his region at the national final in Alassio.

The 48th edition of the national pageant took place on 23 August in Piazza Partigiani, Alassio. The competition concluded with Riccardo Sparacciari, a 27-year-old accountant from Frascati, being crowned the absolute winner.

This year’s edition featured expanded participation, including men up to the age of 45. In the 30-35 age category, Francesco De Simone, a dancer from Massa Lubrense, secured his title. The winners were selected by an all-female jury led by psychologist Eugenie Alderisio.
