Jaan Roose high-altitude slacklining performances
Overview
Estonian slackliner Jaan Roose has completed a series of high-altitude extreme sports performances in late 2026.
In September, Roose set a world record in Bratislava, Slovakia, during a challenge titled ‘From Dawn to Dusk’. He balanced on a 1.9-centimeter wide strap for 12 hours, covering 14.7 kilometers on a line suspended 100 meters above the ground between Bratislava Castle and the UFO observation deck.
Following this achievement, Roose scheduled a performance in Seoul, South Korea, for October 1. This event, the first high-altitude slackline performance in the country, involves walking a 160-meter line suspended 120 meters above the ground between the rooftops of the Korea Na Hotel and the Dong-A Media Center.
