Jacy Jayne NXT championship trajectory

Overview

WWE wrestler Jacy Jayne experienced significant professional uncertainty following the disbandment of the Toxic Attraction trio. During this period, Jayne faced pressure from officials to improve her in-ring and microphone skills to secure singles opportunities. To address these requirements, she increased her training at the WWE Performance Center and local wrestling classes.

This period of intensive preparation culminated in Jayne winning the NXT Women’s Championship on May 27, 2025, by defeating Stephanie Vaquer with assistance from Fatal Influence members Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx. Jayne described the victory as an ‘out-of-body experience.’

While the championship win drew online backlash from fans regarding the manner in which Vaquer lost her 77-day reign, Jayne stated that the hostility serves as motivation. She expressed a desire to transition from an underdog reputation to being recognized as ‘the It Girl.’
