Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters reconstruction

Reports indicate that the UN-designated terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has reconstructed its Markaz Subhan Allah headquarters in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. The 18-acre complex, also known as the Jamia Subhan Allah or Usman-o-Ali campus, had sustained heavy damage during India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ in May 2025. That operation was launched following a terror attack in Pahalgam and involved coordinated strikes by the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy against nine facilities.

Recent satellite imagery and intelligence reports suggest the facility has undergone extensive restoration, including repaired domes, fresh cement, plaster, paint, and polished marble. Intelligence inputs suggest the Pakistani establishment provided approximately PKR 25 crore in cash installments to JeM for the reconstruction, with roughly PKR 11 crore specifically allocated for rebuilding the central hall.

In addition to the main complex, construction or clearing work is reportedly underway on adjoining structures, including the Madrasa Al-Sabir indoctrination center and residential quarters for JeM commanders. The Bahawalpur base has historically served as a center for JeM recruitment and training.
