Significant private sector activity includes a $200 million investment by Sandals across three resorts.

To bolster this recovery, the government is pursuing a ‘Tourism 3.0’ strategy aimed at increasing air connectivity and investment. Airlines including Air Canada, Porter Airlines, and Southwest Airlines are expanding or maintaining services to meet traveler demand. These efforts come as the broader economy works to overcome previous contractions in goods and service exports and aviation capacity challenges.
